Network Communication
This diagram shows the typical communication on the OSM Network.
Ports
AVEVA™ Operational Safety Management software uses the following ports for communication.

Port 1521 |
The port used for the web server to communicate with the Oracle database. The same port is used by the AVEVA™ Operational Safety Management Administration. |

Port 80 |
Presents the OSM web application URL to end users. |

Port 443 |
Used by the OSM integrated service to integrate with other interface solutions such as SAP or other. |
|
Port 25 |
Used for mail delivery within the system. Emails are only sent and not received by the system. |
