Add a new area

You can create areas first and then create zones. If you want, you can connect an area to a zone.

Add an area

1. On the Main menu, double-click Area. The Area Query window opens.

   

2. Query the existing Areas to open the Area results table.

   Note: If the query returns no items, see Adding new rows when query returns '0' rows.

   The result list appears in the Area window.

   

3. Click the New button on the main toolbar. A new row appears in the table.

4. Enter the parameter details for the Area. For more information, see Area parameters.

5. Click Save on the main toolbar.Click Save on the main toolbar.
