Business rules on statuses and workflow actions

Business rules are available for only some entities. See Entities with business rules.

• All available business rules for an entity (for example, work permits) can be accessed from the Maintenance of entities and workflows window.

• Business rules can be of type Check or Execute.

• Business rules can be configured per process and per status.

• A specific business rule can be applied to a process or to a status, but not both.

• Check business rules can be applied to both statuses and workflow actions.

• Execute business rules can be applied to both statuses and workflow actions.
