Some business rules have the possibility to have arguments. Most business rules will not have arguments. However, in some cases, arguments are needed for certain business rules. They can be added only by AVEVA.
-
Standard business rules – Argument may be added by OSM during upgrade.
-
Customer business rules – Argument may be added by AVEVA and included in a business rule deployment package.
If your business rule has added arguments, you have the ability to change the arguments.
Customer business rules
In a small subset of Customer business rules, it is possible for them to have editable arguments.
The syntax for each business rule will be different. Typically, it will be a <key>=<value> pair.

Value – [DEPRECATED]
The available keys will depend on the keys that are built into the business rule. A value that is a text string can be any text.
