Disable the Apply Signatures button

Configure Apply Signatures button to be disable on last signature

You can specify whether the Applied signatures button on the Workflow form in the web application should be disabled when the last person adds their signature.

This makes Perform process the only option available for the last person who signs off.

Why it's needed

When multiple people are adding signatures to a Workflow form, it is possible to perform the Apply signatures action without performing the process. This is to allow a number of people to add signatures one after the other, before the work item is processed to next status.

However, the last person to add their signature must perform the process by clicking the Perform process button..

Guidelines

  • The Disable "Apply signatures" checkbox is enabled only if signatures for that process are required. If none of the signatures are required, then the Disable "Apply signatures" checkbox appears disabled.

  • The Workflow form in the web application will disable the Apply Signatures button only when last signature is required.

Disable the Apply Signatures button

  1. From the Tools menu, open the System management menu.

  2. Double-click to open Entities and Workflows.

  3. Right-click an entity and select Processes.

  4. On the Processes window, select a process in the table.

  5. Select the Disable "Apply signatures" checkbox.

  6. Click Save on the main toolbar.
