Apply a Rule
You can apply rules to a form field so that when the value of the source field meets the criteria, the value of the target field is changed to reflect this.

Specify the target field by making it read-only

Open the Work Permit Form Editor, and select the target field in the PDF form.

(Optional) In the properties panel, select the Read only property.

Add a rule to the source field

Select the source field in the work permit form.

In the properties panel, click the Add (+) button next to Rules to add a rule.

On-Change: Set Target Value Equal to This |
When source value changes, sets target value equal to source value. |

On-Change: Set Target Value Opposite to This |
When source value changes, sets target value opposite to source value. Applies only for checkboxes. |

Has-Value: Set Target As Checked |
If source field has value, sets target field as checked. Applies only for checkboxes. |
|
Expression: Set Target Visibility |
The target field must be Read-only text and hidden. This rule will show a hidden field. |
|
Expression: Set Target Checked if True |
Sets target field to checked, if expression on source field is true. |
On the source field, specify the target field

Still on the source field, in the properties panel, underneath Rules, specify the target field the rule should apply to.

Click Add to add the rule.

Click Save
in the Work Permit Form Editor.
