Install OSM Administration

Authorized users

Only authorized and trained personnel should have access to AVEVA™ Operational Safety Management Administration.

Trusted machines

We recommend that you install AVEVA™ Operational Safety Management Administration only on trusted machines within the same domain that have authenticated domain users.

Installing OSM Administration

The AVEVA™ Operational Safety Management Administration is installed with its own msi.

To install AVEVA Operational Safety Management Administration

1. Double-click the .msi file. Click Next.

   

2. If an existing instance of OSM Administration is found, remove that instance before proceeding.

   

3. On the License Agreement screen, select the I accept the terms in the License Agreement. Click Install.

   

4. Enter the Oracle connection details to connect to the OSM database. Click Install.

   

5. When the installation is complete, click Finish.
