What produces a notification

When a job configuration error occurs or a job finishes, it produces a notification that is sent by e-mail.

The Receive notifications checkbox must be selected for the system to send notifications.

Job errors

Notifications inform you about configuration errors, such as missing parameters, and so on. This is information that the job checks whether the information exists before the job executes. Notifications are also sent when a job is finished.

Example of what might cause a configuration error notification:

  • Elements of job are not configured correctly, such as missing or invalid properties.

  • Project configuration does not support job, such as missing workflow statuses.

Note: The system will only send notifications if users are added as receivers.

Job completion

A notification will be sent when job finishes. This notification sometimes contains other information about job.

If a job runs daily, this notification can serve the purpose of a daily update message.

Language for notifications

The language for notifications can be any of the languages supported in the Languages window: ENG, NOB, or SPAMX. The default is ENG.

Who receives notifications
