Check for software updates

Check that the ICS software on the host has all the recommended patches and hot fixes installed.

Some AVEVA applications release regular updates, which should be applied as soon as possible as they may contain security-related fixes.

Note: The AVEVA Global Customer Support (GCS) group publishes a Technology Matrix for AVEVA software products. This matrix lists the Windows operating system versions against which a software product has been tested for compatibility. In addition, it lists compatible runtime, browser and virtualization environments for the software. It also includes a list of other products that can be installed on the same computer and lists other products with which this software can communicate.
