What is an entity?

An entity in AVEVA™ Operational Safety Management refers to a class of items, such as work permits, work orders, isolation plans, or isolation lists. One instance of an entity refers to one work permit. Some entities can have a workflow with statuses and processes.

Entities with Workflow

The main entity types in AVEVA™ Operational Safety Management include:

  • Work Permit

  • Isolation

  • Isolation List

  • Safe Job Analysis

  • Lesson Learned

  • Collection

  • Supplementary Form

  • Risk Assessment

These entity types all allow the configuration of an associated Dynamic workflows.
