Add message to log

Add message to log when this process is performed

You can configure that an operator message will be added to the log when a certain process is performed.

Example

When a Cancel process is performed, you want to require a message added to the log explaining why the item is being canceled.

Add message to log

  1. On the Tools menu, point to System management, then click Entities and Workflows.

  2. Right-click an entity and select Processes from the context menu.

  3. On the Processes window, select the Message to log only checkbox.

  4. To enforce that a message is entered, select Requires message to log.

  5. Click Save on the main toolbar.
