Include attachments from subtypes

You can add attachments to a work permit subtype and those attachments will appear on each new work permit of the subtype that is created.

Every new work permit of this subtype will have attachment included. The attachment becomes part of the work permit as a reference document.

If you add an attachment to the work permit type and to the subtype and select the Copy to main entity when it is created check box, both will be included on a new work permit item.

To include subtype attachments on new work permits

1. On the Work permit window, right click a work permit type and select Sub type.

   

2. On the Work permit subtype window, select the subtype and click Attachment on the main toolbar.

   

3. Browse to select attachment file and select the Copy to main entity when it is created checkbox.

   

4. Click Save on the main toolbar.
