Functionality setup for an isolation list type

The Dynamic Functionality feature enables you to custom combinations of functionalities for the statuses of different Isolation List types.

Access functionality configuration setup from functionalities perspective

In this procedure, you can access each functionality and configure the statuses the functionality is enabled for.

There are two ways of approaching this:

• Configure functionality setup from functionalities perspective.

• Configure functionality setup from statuses perspective.

Important: It is important that you fully validate and test Dynamic Functionalities in a test environment before taking the configuration to a production environment. It is possible to configure infinite loops.

Configure functionality setup from functionalities perspective

1. On the Main menu, double-click Type of isolation list.

   

2. On the query window, click Lookup next to Site.

3. Select your Site and click OK.

   

   The Type of Isolation List window appears.

   

4. Right-click a list type and select Functionality Setup.

   

   The Functionality setup window opens.

   

5. For each functionality, right-click and select Turn on/off to enable or disable the functionality. A check mark appears in the Turned on column when the functionality is enabled.

   

   For each enabled functionality, right-click and select Configuration.

   

6. On the Configuration window, use the Yes and No radio buttons to specify whether this functionality is enabled and visible for each status.

   

7. Click Save on the main toolbar.

8. Repeat for each functionality that is enabled for this type of Isolation list.

Access functionality configuration from statuses perspective

It is also possible to do visible/enabled configuration from the status point of view.

You can right-click a status and access the functionalities for that one status.

9. On the Type of Isolation List window, right-click the list type and select Status Setup.

   

10. Right-click a status and select Configuration.

    

11. From this perspective, you can configure functionalities for the status.
