Important information

• The Calculation Hub and Node configuration described in this manual uses the Network Service identity for all connectivity. However it is possible to use domain user, managed service, and group managed service accounts in the process.

• AVEVA strongly recommends using SSL wherever possible, critically if using basic authentication. While using HTTP bindings is still possible, this is not recommended.

• This document does not cover any aspects relating to authorization. All points listed in this document assume default configuration (All Users), and therefore should only be used as a guide in conjunction with your own corporate IT, security and governance policies.

• This document does not cover any mechanisms for scaling out your deployment. The node package configured by this process can be easily scripted for automated installation using any of your infrastructure configuration management tools.
