  1. Install the desktop version of Assay, configure it to point to the external CrudeSync URL and try syncing data with the server.

  2. Publish an assay in the desktop application and check you can see it via the Web interface.

  3. Publish a traded crude in the Web application and check you can see it in the desktop application.

  4. Connect the Excel example spreadsheet to the Core Web site and check that it connects successfully.
