Copy the new installation files to the appropriate location

Copy the installation files into the appropriate folder (D:\Web\SpiralSuite\...).

• The CrudeSync import service files are contained in a folder called <date>_CrudeSyncImportNoDB_<VersionNumber>.<build>, for example 20201203_CrudeSyncImportNoDB_2021.1.20338.15_2021.1. This folder is referred to as <CrudeSyncImportFolder> in the remainder of this manual. Copy this folder into the CrudeSyncImport folder.

• The DataLayer Server files are contained in a folder called <date>_DataLayer_<VersionNumber>.<build>, for example 20190614_DataLayer_2019.3_12345.67_2019.3. This folder is referred to as <DataLayerFolder> in the remainder of this manual. Copy this folder into the DataLayer folder.

• The CrudeSync files are contained in a folder called <date>_CrudeSyncYml_<VersionNumber>.<build>, for example 20240404_CrudeSyncYml_2024.2.24095.5_2024.2. This folder is referred to as <CrudeSyncFolder> in the remainder of this manual.

  • If your CrudeSync folder contains the favicon.ico file in the top level (not in a subfolder), rename the folder to something else, such as CrudeSync_bak, and create a new CrudeSync folder. Copy the <CrudeSyncFolder> folder into the new CrudeSync folder.

  • If your CrudeSync folder contains other folders of the type <date>_CrudeSyncYml_<VersionNumber>.<build>, copy your <CrudeSyncFolder> folder alongside the other ones.
