For a new installation, follow the instructions from Configure basic permissions to Check service status and configure AVEVA Unified Supply Chain. For an upgrade, follow the instructions in Upgrade the Staging service.

The Staging service configuration described uses the Network Service identity for all connectivity. However it is possible to use domain user, managed service, group managed service and virtual accounts in the process.

While it is possible to stretch the service architecture across machines, the configuration shown in this document describes a simple deployment on to a single machine.

This document does not cover any aspects relating to authorization. All points listed in this document assume default configuration, and therefore should only be used as a guide in conjunction with your own corporate IT, security and governance policies.
