Configure the file share

Embedded Image (65% Scaling) (LIVE)

The file share is used by the hub as a place to store the representation of the submitted model along with requested calculations. The file share must reside in a location that is resolvable by the hub and nodes.

  1. Copy the folder with your installation files to an appropriate location. In the remainder of this section, D:\Spiral\CalculationHub_Install is used as the path to the installation files.

  2. Create a folder where to deploy the Calculation Hub, for example D:\Spiral\CalculationHub.

  3. Edit the permissions of the D:\Spiral\CalculationHub folder by granting Network Service modify permissions.

  4. Create another folder called JobQueue (D:\Spiral\JobQueue).

  5. Edit the permission of this folder granting the group representing your calculation nodes modify permissions.

    The file structure should look like this:

  6. Share the JobQueue folder on the network. The share permissions should reflect the DACL you just configured. AVEVA recommends using a hidden share ($).
