Upgrade the Staging service

Follow these steps to upgrade your Staging Service from a previous installation:

  1. Follow all the steps in Configure basic permissions.

  2. Follow all the steps in Configure the application settings.

  3. Change the physical path of the Staging website to the new Staging build. In the IIS Manager, right-click the Staging website and choose Manage Website > Advanced Settings. Change the Physical Path value to the Release folder of the new Staging build.

  4. Follow all the steps in Check service status and configure AVEVA Unified Supply Chain.

    Note: If needed, the staging database schema is automatically updated during an upgrade. Appropriate database permissions are required to modify, add or delete tables as needed.
