Load AVEVA Engineering Class Data into AVEVA P&ID

Launch AVEVA P&ID and open the Configuration module.

Navigate to the the Plant and Marine Integration Category of the AVEVA P&ID Project Administration program.

In the Login Details to Access Engineering Class Picker sub Category, click the Set button display the Schematics Model Manager settings.

Navigate to the installation location of AVEVA Diagrams to populate the Path Field. The Bat File field is populated automatically.

Click the Get Projects button to obtain the list of projects and login to the configured conceptual model project in AVEVA Administration.

Enter a Username and Password and select the MDB that is the modified MDB in AVEVA Administration.

Click the Refresh button to retrieve the details of the conceptual model data. As a result, the "ClassDataTest.xml" file is created and saved at the windows temp location.

All the classes exported from the AVEVA Engineering conceptual model can be checked using the outputted XML file.

Navigate to the List of Values Category of the AVEVA P&ID Project Administration program.

• The Instrument Type Letter list of values can be assigned to AVEVA Engineering conceptual model instrument classes.

• The Equipment Type Letter list of values can be assigned to AVEVA Engineering conceptual model equipment classes.

Navigate to the Symbols Category of the AVEVA P&ID Project Administration program.

• The Symbols can be assigned to AVEVA Engineering conceptual model default class values.
