Make Skids valid Sources/Destinations

Datasets can be also used as the Tags for Skids which will then be reported as Sources/Destinations of Pipes in AVEVA P&ID Reports.

The user must create the dataset by clicking Create Dataset Property on the Equipment - Skid Settings Sub-Category and then providing the attribute name.

This dataset will then be available in Available Data Properties section.

Select the dataset from the drop-down list, changing the selection from Default Tag.

Save the settings.

Open the AVEVA P&ID Application and in the Properties dialog for a skid, enter all required details including the value for the dataset.

Now if there are pipes which either start or end in this Skid, then for these pipes the From/To columns in AVEVA P&ID Reports will display the Skid dataset tag instead of the default tag.
