Create New Project on Subscriber Machine

This procedure is used to create a new project on the subscriber machine.

1. Launch AVEVA P&ID by double clicking the desktop shortcut.

2. Open the Project Wizard to display the P&ID Project Setup dialog.

3. Click the Next button.

   

4. Specify the AutoCAD installation path and click the Next button.

   

5. Select the Create a New P&ID Project option and click the Next button.

   

6. Specify the SQL authentication details and click the Test Connection button to establish the connection.

   

7. A message is then displayed indicating whether or not the connection details are valid. For example:

   

8. Specify the Project Name and Description and click the Next button.

   

9. Browse to the location where the project is to be created and click the Next button.

   

10. Specify the AVEVA P&ID installation path and click the Next button.

    

11. On the confirmation screen, click the Next button.

    

12. When the project is successfully created, click Finish to close the P&ID Project Setup dialog.
