Changes to drawings resulting from the format of split pipe label types being changed is not automatically implemented when project drawings are loaded. The user must trigger these changes "manually" in each drawing after it has loaded using this procedure.
Note: Only split pipe labels that have been upgraded as described in Upgrade Split Pipe Label Types will be updated by this procedure.
Associated Project Configuration Options
-
If split labelling is required, use the Split After Field field in the Split Format section of the Pipes - Labels Sub-Category of the AVEVA P&I Project Administration program to indicate which field in the pipe format to split on. The 'Y' Offset Above Line and 'Y' Offset Below Line fields are used to specify the distance that the 2 parts of label are placed above and below the line.
-
The colours, heights, styles, and other formatting attributes of the parts of split pipe labels are defined by setting the properties of the XPO (first part), XPB (second part), XBO (third part), and XBT (fourth part) label types in the Label Types Configuration Category.
Procedure
Enter FORMATSPLITPIPETAG at the command prompt.
All XPO, XPB, XBO and XBT pipe labels on the drawing are then updated to the current project configuration settings.
