The Favourites tab is used to store popular symbols and place them on a drawing. Symbols are added to the Favourites tab using the Symbol Explorer. See Use the Symbol Explorer.

The display of the Favourites tab is specified in the Symbols Configuration Category of the AVEVA P&ID Project Administration program.

The content of the Favourites tab is displayed as icons:

Once the required symbol has been selected it may be inserted by dragging and dropping it from the Favourites tab onto the drawing page.

To remove the currently selected symbol from the Favourites tab, right-click and select the Remove option.
