Export Drawings to PDF Format - Customization and Options

When exporting a drawing revision to PDF from the drawing viewer (see View Revisions), a number of export customization options are available.

When the Export > PDF option is selected, the PDFExport dialog opens:

In this dialog you can set various options including the output file location and the size (width and height) of the PDF "paper".

Paper sizes as defined by the ISO 216 standard are as follows:

A0 841 x 1189 mm is the recommended paper size for PDF exports.

Select Paper width, mm: 1682 and Paper height, mm: 1189 to export the drawing in landscape.

Select Paper width, mm: 1189 and Paper height, mm: 1682 to export the drawing in portrait.

To export the drawing revision in black-and-white drawing, select Save as monochrome.

To ensure the drawing fits within the specified paper size, select Zoom to extents mode.
To complete the export with the selected settings, select Export.
From the Output file location, you can then open, view and print the exported drawing revision.
