Define AutoCAD Colour Theme

By default, the AutoCAD colour theme is set to the Light theme for AVEVA P&ID. Functionality is available to modify the colour theme to the Dark theme.

The system variable COLORTHEME is set to 1 (Light theme) in the ACAD.LSP macro file delivered with the application. The ACAD.LSP macro file is located in the BIN folder of the standard installation.

Define Colour Theme for All Projects

Defines the colour theme for all projects.

Note:
Only users with Windows administrator access can access the required file.

  1. Open the ACAD.LSP macro file located in the BIN folder of the standard installation specified in the Project Configuration Category of the AVEVA P&ID Administration Program.

  2. Search for the text value COLORTHEME.

  3. Change the value of the COLORTHEME system variable to specify the colour theme:

    • 0 = Dark theme

    • 1 = Light theme

Define Colour Theme for Single Project

Defines the colour theme for a single project.

  1. Copy the ACAD.LSP macro file from the BIN folder of the standard installation into the Validation Directory folder specified in the Project Configuration Category of the AVEVA P&ID Administration Program.

  2. Open the copied file.

  3. Search for the text value COLORTHEME.

  4. Change the value of the COLORTHEME system variable to specify the colour theme:

    • 0 = Dark theme

    • 1 = Light theme
