Export DEXPI XML Data

DEXPI 4.0.1 XML data is exported using options in the AVEVA Integration group of the Manage tab:

The menu also includes the two import options described above, and the ISO 15926 option, which is used to export XML data in the 3.3 or 3.2 schema format, refer to Export Data to ISO 15926 Files.

To export DEXPI 4.0.1 XML data from a single drawing, open the drawing and select the ISO 15926 DEXPI 4.0.1 option. The export will then take place. The progress of the export will be indicated in a progress bar at the bottom of the application window.

To export DEXPI 4.0.1 XML data from multiple drawings, select the ISO 15926 Batch option.

The Select files to process ISOEXPORT dialog is then displayed:

The dialog lists all the project drawings. Select the drawings that data is to be exported from by checking the checkboxes next to their names. If all drawings are to be exported from, check the Select All checkbox.

Select version of the schema that data will be exported in, selecting the DEXPI 4.0.1 option in this case.

Press OK.

The export will then take place. The progress of the export will be indicated in a progress bar at the bottom of the application window, and in the command prompt.
