Associated Documents Window Configuration Options

The connection to AVEVA Asset Information Management (AVEVA AIM), and the criteria the facility uses when searching for AVEVA AIM documents, etc. are setup using the Design In Context Configuration Category of the AVEVA P&ID Project Administration program.

To specify other settings related to how and when associated documents are displayed, select the Configure option in the Settings Group of the AIM tab. The Configuration dialog is then displayed:

If the documents associated with items are to be automatically displayed in the Associated Documents window when they are selected in a drawing, the Auto Tracking checkbox must be checked.

If they are to be displayed only when Search is selected, refer to Display List of Documents Associated with an Item), the checkbox must be unchecked.

When documents are listed, they can be grouped either by their document types, or by their tags. Select either the Document Type option or the Tag option as required.
