Example of Equipment Type Letter List of Values assigned to AVEVA Engineering Classes

The Equipment Type Letter list of values can be assigned to AVEVA Engineering conceptual model equipment classes. The Equipment Type Letter list of values is located in List of Values Category of the AVEVA P&ID Project Administration program.

In the example, Equipment Type Letter B is assigned to the Air Assist Blower System class using the Select Class dialog.

The Engineering Component Class URI column is populated with the value from the AVEVA Engineering conceptual model.

The URI value is stored in the URICLASSNAME column of the P&ID Data Grid, this information can be transferred to AVEVA Engineering from the AVEVA P&ID reports database using the compare and update facility.
