When drawings produced in older versions of AVEVA P&ID (versions 6.1 to 7.2) are upgraded, some of the pipes converted by the upgrade process, refer to Upgrade Items on Legacy Drawings, may be recreated with incorrect internal sequence numbers. In other words, the sequence numbers assigned to the individual components of these pipes does not reflect the actual (and correct) graphical sequence of their components.
This procedure is used to correct such sequence numbers in the current drawing. No graphical changed to the drawing will take place, for example, the order of the sequence numbers of pipe components will change, not the graphical order of components.
Procedure
Complete the procedure by entering AVVCHECKSEQ at the Command prompt. Any incorrect sequence numbers in the drawing are then amended appropriately.
