Create and View Collections of Documents

Users can create sets of documents called collections. The user can subsequently select a collection to view the list of documents in it.
Create Collections
There are two ways to create a collection. Select the Collections option in the Manage group of the AIM tab. The list of existing collections is then displayed.
To create a new collection, select the + New Collection option:

Enter the name for the new collection in the field that is then displayed:

Alternately, tick the checkboxes next to the names of documents. The above field and buttons will then be displayed, although in this case the field will also provide access to a list of existing collections. At this point the user can select an existing collection to add the document(s) to, or enter name of a new collection.
Click Save
to save the collection, Cancel
to cancel.
To edit a collection name, select it from the collections list and click
. The name of the collection may then be changed if required.
To delete a collection, select it from the list and click
.
Add Document to Collections
As described above, documents can be added to a collection by checking their checkboxes and then selecting the collection name from the field that is then displayed above the list of documents. Select the save button to complete the process.
Alternately, open documents for viewing, refer to View a Document, open the collection to which they are to be added, and the click
.
View Collections
To view the list documents in a collection, click on its name:

The list of documents is then displayed:

The name of the collection is displayed above the list of its documents. Click the < button next to it to return to the list of collections.
Click
to add open documents to the collection as described above.
Click
to edit the collection name.
To remove a document from the collection, check its checkbox and click
.
To open and view the documents themselves, click on the folder symbol next to the collection name.

The documents are then opened in another window, refer to View a Document. The window will include a separate tab for each document in the collection.
Individual documents can be viewed in the normal way by clicking the document name.
Select the back arrow button < next to the Collections heading to return to the associated documents listing.
