Annotation Assembly Creation with Datasets

The dataset labels such as those discussed in the previous two sections can be used for creating Annotation Assemblies. These can then be used to annotate drawings with the dataset attribute values as required.

To start creating an annotation assembly, click on the Assembly option in Symbol section of the Home tab.

Follow the instructions in the command window, entering the correct information including the required selection of the dataset labels.

Refresh the Equipment folder in Symbol explorer, right-click and select Refresh.

Double-click on the symbol created, place it on then drawing and then select the equipment with which the label is to be associated.

The annotation assembly label will then display the values for that equipment as entered in its Properties window.
