Signal Propagation Tab

  • Last UpdatedAug 08, 2025
  • 1 minute read

Check the Allow when a clash of signal is detected checkbox if non-signal propagating connections (wires, loops, links) are to be allowed between terminals with different signals. The checkbox is unchecked by default.

The Show warning message checkbox is disabled unless the Allow when a clash of signal is detected checkbox is checked.

  • If the Show warning message checkbox is checked, when an attempt to make a connection between terminals with different signals is made, a message is displayed warning that there is a signal clash, and asking whether a non-signal propagating connection is to be created.

  • If the Show warning message checkbox is not checked, a non-signal propagating connection is created automatically, i.e. without a warning message.
