The symbols used to represent items on a drawing can be changed to any of those available in the project for that type of item (see Pre-Defined Distribution Diagram Symbols and User-Defined Distribution Diagram Symbols).

Note:
This does not apply to busbars, distribution boards, MCCs, or switchboards.

To change the symbol of any individual item:

In Key One Line diagrams, the symbols of multiple items of the same type may be changed (they do not need to be represented by the same symbol). Select these symbols and right-click on it to display the Change Symbol option:

  2. The following message is displayed if multiple symbols of different types are right-clicked: on:

  3. Select the Change Symbol option to display the Symbol List window:

The window displays all the available project symbols for the selected type of item.

If an individual item was selected, or multiple symbols currently represented by the same symbol were selected, the symbol currently used will be highlighted.

  4. Select a different symbol either by double-clicking on it or clicking on it and clicking Select. The window then exits and the symbol(s) on the drawing are replaced by the selected symbol.
