Project Tab

The Project tab includes the following Electrical Engineer-specific options:

Setup Sub Menu

Property Definitions

Used to create and edit user defined Property Definitions for equipment.

Project Voltages

Used to define the list of Project Voltages that can be selected from when defining equipment.

Compartment Element Types

Used to define the types of elements located in MCC and Switchboard compartments. Refer to Compartment Element Types.

Tag Formats

Enables the user to select existing Tag Formats, create new tag formats and edit existing tag formats.

Class Definitions

Provides access to the Class Definitions window, used to create and edit instrument and loop classes. Refer to Class Definitions.

Type Code Catalogue

Provides access to the Equipment Type Code Catalogue window, used to create and edit equipment types. Refer to Equipment Type Catalogue.

Symbols

Accesses a sub-menu with two further options:

Cable Sizing Configuration

Used to specify the default data used when sizing load cables. Refer to Cable Sizing Setup for further information.

Enhance Wiring Rules

Used to set up enhanced wiring rules to define connections between tags and cables. Intermediate tags, termination types and terminations, Compartment typicals for MCC/Switchboard supplies, and groups of cables "to be sized" can all be defined as part of such a rule. Refer to Enhanced Wiring Rules.

Set Datasheet Export File Name / Folders

Enables users to define rules to allow datasheet Excel files to be automatically renamed when copied out of AVEVA Electrical into user defined folders. Refer to Export Selected Datasheet Files.

Drawings Export to External System Configuration

Enables users to select where the publishing folder is located, which executable format is required and fields of information written for each published item. Refer to Datasheet Publishing.

Loading Factor

Displays the Loading Factor window. Refer to Loading Factors for further information.

Loading Scenarios

Displays the Loading Scenarios window. Refer to Loading Scenarios for further information.

ETAP Integration Configuration

Displays the ETAP Integration Config window. Refer to ETAP Integration Setup or further information
