The Report Wizard is a tool that used to easily create reports based on built-in templates. by editing an existing report created in AVEVA Instrumentation or AVEVA Electrical.

Note that the initial report layout will be lost after completing the wizard.
To start the Report Wizard, click the report's Smart tag and in the actions list, click Design in Report Wizard.

The Report Wizard provides two different ways to setup a report:

Using this wizard, a user can create a banded report displaying data in a tabular format. While setting up a report using this wizard, a user will be able to group data, add totals to the report, apply one of the predefined report styles, etc.

This wizard is useful when labels need to be printed. In this case, it is likely that label paper that meets particular requirements is to be used. Depending on paper supplier and label type, the report will need to generate labels with a specific size and location within paper sheets. With the Label Report Wizard, it will not be necessary to adjust these settings manually, since the wizard provides a wide choice of paper suppliers and products. When a paper type is selected the report is adjusted automatically. After the wizard is completed, an empty report is generated that clearly indicates label boundaries and positions the labels within the sheets.
