Add Circuits and Phase Ways - Circuit Number Circuit Identification Method

If the Circuit Number circuit identification method is in use for the distribution board, the following buttons are provided:

When the Circuit Number circuit identification method is selected (on the Supply Details - Detail Tab), a number of circuits is also specified (the default number is 30). These are automatically added to the viewer. For example:

Odd numbered circuits are listed, then even numbered circuits.
-
To add more circuits, click Add Circuit. Two more circuits are then added. In this example, circuits 31 and 33 would be added after circuit 29 in the viewer. If Add Circuit was clicked again, circuits 32 and 34 would be added after circuit 20.
-
To add phase ways, select a circuit and click Add 1 Phase, Add 2 Phase or Add 3 Phase as required.
-
If Add 2 Phase or Add 3 Phase is selected, and there are insufficient circuit numbers available for that type of phase way to be added, the following message is displayed.

In the above example, Add 3 Phase was selected for circuit 9, but there are only 2 further odd-numbered circuits available from that point (9 and 11).
This message is also displayed if an attempt is made to add a phase way to a circuit that has already been assigned one.
-
Reserved spaces may also be added, to represent blanks for example. To add a reserved space, select a circuit and click Add Reserved Space.
-
Continue to add phase ways and circuits as described above until all required circuits have been added. For example:

Reserved spaces are labelled "RS". Before saving, other phase ways are labelled "SPARE".
-
When the viewer is saved, a circuit breaker with default details is automatically created for each phase way. The rated current (by default, 0A) of these devices is displayed for each phase way in the viewer.

The current and other circuit breaker details are edited using the Circuit Breaker Detail window (refer to View/Edit Circuit Breaker Details).
