Utilisation and Diversity Factor

Select the utilisation type of the loading scenario from the Utilisation list.

Making a selection automatically populates the Diversity Factor field with the following values:

  • Continuous - 100%

  • Intermittent - 50%

  • Standby - 0%

  • Spare - none (entry into the field is disabled)

Unless Spare was selected, the user may then amend the default value as required. The maximum value that can be entered is 150%.

Note:
Setting a loading scenario to Spare will automatically set all of the load’s loading scenarios to Spare.
A load cannot be set to Spare if it is linked to either a load or supply tag (i.e. if it has been assigned a supply, or designated as a supply). A message will be displayed to inform the user of this if that is the case. The user must first unassign the supply, change the utilisation type to Spare, and then reassign the supply if necessary.
