Supply Details - Compartments Tab - MCCs and Switchboards

Details of MCC and Switchboard busbar compartments, including compartment elements and their details, are viewed, added and specified using the Compartments tab.

Expand the equipment node to view a node for each of the busbars. Expand a busbar node to view the compartments in that busbar. Compartment nodes can then be expanded to view details of the devices in a busbar and the items they feed.

If the project is configured to include vertical busbars, they are also displayed on the tab. Each will have a node beneath the horizontal busbar they are a part of, and each will in turn have compartment nodes in the same way as horizontal busbars

Note:
Whether or not a project includes vertical busbars is set on the Busbar Tab of the Options window.

For example:

Vertical busbars are identified on this tab using their frame name rather than their busbar name.

Compartments are also added automatically when loads are assigned, when incomer protection devices are added, and when vertical busbars and couplers are created, and also when busbars are added using the Loads Assigned tab (refer to Supply Details - Loads Assigned Tab - MCCs and Switchboards for further information).

Default "Connector" elements will be created with automatically generated compartments. These are "place-holders" and can subsequently be replaced in this tab with the required elements.
