To unassign a wiring rule:

  • In the case of MCCs, Switchboards and Distribution Boards, click the Un-Assign option on the Wiring Rule button’s drop-down menu in the Incomers section of the Details sub-tab of the supply’s Loads Assigned tab:

  • In the case of other types of supply, click Unassign in the supply’s Detail tab:

  1. A message such as the following is then displayed:

  2. When a rule is unassigned, any cables or equipment items created when wiring was generated by it may also be deleted. The message lists the cables and the equipment that were created when the wiring rule was applied.

  3. Click Yes to delete these items, and all associated terminations. Items and terminations that were present before the rule was applied are unaffected.

  4. Click No to simply remove the link from the rule to these objects.

  5. The rule is then unassigned from the supply (the Wiring Rule or Rule Name field is cleared). Apply or OK must be clicked to save this change.
