Multiple loading scenarios can be setup for a project, for example,. normal running, winter running, emergency shut down. For each load, different absorbed power values can be specified.

To add, edit or delete loading scenarios and to specify which scenario is currently in effect for the project, select Setup > Loading Scenarios from the Project tab. The Loading Scenarios window is then displayed:

To create a new scenario, click New. A new row of fields is then added below the list of existing scenarios. In these fields, enter the new scenario’s name, caption and description. A datalink number is assigned automatically, but may be changed if required.

Each name, caption and datalink number must be unique.

Note:
The name cannot be changed once the scenario is saved.

Note:
Loading scenarios can also be added to a project by importing them from another project. Refer to Import Loading Scenarios for details.

To set a scenario to be the one currently in effect for the project, check its Primary checkbox.

Only one scenario can be set as the "primary" at the time. If the user attempts to save when more than one Primary checkbox is checked, or when no Primary checkbox is checked, an error message will be displayed to inform the user of the problem:

To edit the details of a scenario, click in the fields the values of which are to be edited and enter the new values.

Use the Up and Down arrow buttons to change the order of scenarios in the list, for example,. to move a scenario up or down the list, select it and click the appropriate button.

To delete a scenario, select it from the list and click Delete. The following message will then be displayed:

Click Yes to confirm the deletion, or No to cancel it.

Note:
Deletions are only finalized when the window is saved, if OK or Apply is clicked on. Therefore accidental deletions can be recovered from if the Cancel is button selected beforehand.
If there is only one loading scenario listed, it cannot be deleted. An error message will be displayed to inform the user of this if this attempted.
