View and Edit Drawing Information

To view and edit existing drawing information, select the drawing in the Drawings List and click Edit on the Home tab, or double-click on the drawing record in the Drawings List. The Drawing Information window is then displayed.

Note:
All of the data entry fields in the Drawing Information window can be automatically updated for each drawing by using Datalinks to link the database data to drawing attributes.

Note:
The Last Edit field displays the date and time when the drawing data was last edited. The user name of the individual that performed the edit is displayed in a tool-tip when the mouse cursor is hovered over the field. Click the button in the field to display the Audit Manager, which will display a list of all the changes to the drawing data.

Note: For KOL and SLD Designer Drawings imported from Electrical Engineer (see Import Drawings into the Drawings List) or exported into the Drawings List using Electrical Engineer facilities (refer to the Engineer User Guide), additional preview and update options are available once a Seed File is selected and the drawing information is saved. Refer to Designer Drawing Preview and Update Facilities for details.
