Quick Import

Click Import Data > Quick Import. The import then starts immediately, without going through the compare process as described above. All valid data is accepted for import automatically.

The import first fetches data on the records in the selected database. The Quick Import pop-up displays the progress of this process:

The Update database window is then displayed:

The window displays a summary of the records in the selected source database and changes that will be made to the AVEVA Electrical database if these are imported. To implement these changes, select the UpdateDB button.

The update then takes place. The Quick Import pop-up displays the progress of this import:

Once the import is completed, the following is displayed:

Click OK. A summary of the changes is then displayed:

Click Close to exit the window.
