Select Equipment

To select an equipment number for a Enhanced Termination Report, Schematic, SLD Designer Drawing, Panel Board Drawing, or Termination diagram type in the Drawing Information window:

1. Click the button in the Equipment No field to display the Select Equipment window:

   

2. The window displays the equipment in the plant area selected in the Drawing Information window. Select a different area if required.

   In the case of Panel Board Drawings, only Distribution Boards are listed.

3. To list only devices or terminal strips instead of major equipment items, check the Show Devices or Show Terminal Strips checkboxes as required (checking one checkbox unchecks the other).

4. To create new equipment, select New. The Equipment Information window is then displayed. Refer to Electrical Wiring Manager documentation for details.

5. Select the required equipment from the list and click Select, or double-click on it.

   Different items of equipment can be selected for drawings with the same drawing number. There is no requirement that all drawings with the same drawing number are associated with the same equipment.

   Note:
   If the selected equipment has more terminations than can fit on a single drawing sheet, additional drawings sheets will be created automatically as required when the drawing is generated using the Update command. Refer to Create or Update AutoCAD Drawings for further details.
