Add a New Group

To add a new Security Group to the database, highlight Groups in the left-hand pane and click Add Group from the toolbar menu. The Group window is then displayed:

Enter a Name for the new group and optionally a Description of it. Completing the Description field is optional but AVEVA recommend it is completed.

Click Save. The Group window is closed and the new group name is displayed AVEVA Electrical Security Manager window.

After a new Group is created, the Security Manager administrator will need to assign access rights to that Group using the Security Objects options. Refer to Set Security on Objects.
