Edit ETAP Element/AVEVA Item Type Mappings

Mappings between ETAP element and AVEVA item type cannot be deleted.

However, some of these mappings can be edited:

• For example, the ETAP element can be mapped to a different AVEVA item type. Only mappings to compartment element item types can be edited. Mappings to other items types cannot be edited as without a minimum of these mappings the interface will not be able to function.

• Mappings which cannot be edited will have their AVEVA item type "greyed out" in the AVEVA Electrical Type column, that means displayed in grey text instead of black text.

• Mappings with their AVEVA Electrical Type column text in black can be edited. Hover the mouse over the AVEVA Electrical Type column field for the mapping to be changed. A button is then displayed at the right-hand side of the field. Click it to display the list of AVEVA Electrical compartment element types:

  

  Select the required compartment element type to change the mapping.

• Note that multiple ETAP elements can be mapped to the same AVEVA compartment element type.
