To delete items, cables (or connections) and compartments:

  1. Select them (refer to Select Layout Elements) and press the Delete key.

  2. A Delete option is also available on the right-click menu of individual cables.

  3. A message is then displayed to inform the user that the deletions will not affect items already associated with the wiring rule. The deletion will not change their existing wiring etc. Click OK.

  4. The Delete Options window is then displayed:

  5. If cables (or connections not yet converted into cables) are selected for deletion, the window will include an Assignments to be deleted section. This will list the selected connections, i.e. the tag numbers at each end of the cables/connections (or busbar identifiers in the case of MCCs and Switchboards).

    Note:
If items at either end of a cable are deleted, the cable is automatically deleted as well, whether or not it is also selected.

  6. If items or compartments are selected for deletion, the window will include an Equipment to be deleted section. This will list the tag numbers or compartment identifiers of the selected items.

  7. Click OK to carry out the deletion.

    Note:
The primary supply and primary load cannot be deleted. If selected for deletion, they will be listed in the Delete Options window with a note to the user informing them of this. The OK button will be disabled. For example:
