Start the Import

To carry out the import, select ETAP Import from the Import section of the Manage tab.

A progress bar is then displayed while the initial assessment stages of the import are carried out:

ETAP data is imported into AVEVA Electrical in accordance with settings stored in files located in a specified folder. If this folder has not been specified in the interface setup, or the folder does not exist, the following message is displayed:

ETAP data is imported into AVEVA Electrical from an xml file which is generated by ETAP. If the file specified in the interface setup is not present, the following message is displayed:

If data folder has been set correctly, and the import file is available, the Import window is then displayed. Refer to Import Window - Data Analysis Page.
