Used to define the power settings of the loads, for example, voltage, equipment voltage, mechanical lad, motor catalogue number and nameplate settings.

  • Enter or select the general and nameplate power details of the load in the top half of the tab (rated power, efficiency) as required.

    Note:
The rated power of the load must be selected in the Rated Power field before the load can be saved.

    Note:
Refer to Load Detail Window Calculations for explanations, details of power calculations etc.

  • The Absorbed section of the tab includes a row of fields for each loading scenario. Enter the required power details for each of these as required. For additional guidance refer to Utilisation and Diversity Factor, Loading Factors and Motors.

  • The loading scenario that has its Primary checkbox checked is the one currently in effect for the project.

    Note:
Loading scenarios are created and edited and the "primary" scenario selected using the Loading Scenarios window, accessed from the Project tab. Refer to Loading Scenarios for further information.

  • To view absorbed power details without having to scroll horizontally, double-click on any field that cannot be edited or have a value selected in it (such as the Loading Scenario name field). The Absorbed window is then displayed:

In this window, data for each scenario is displayed in a column rather than in a row. Data can be edited in this window in the same way as on the Power tab.
