Create a New Equipment Tag for Basic Cable Block Diagrams

To create a new equipment tag:

• Open the Equipment menu and click Create New.

• Or, right-click on the drawing canvas (not on any existing entity), and from the pop-up menu select Add New Equipment.

The Equipment Information window is then displayed:

After entering the new tag's data (refer to Create New Equipment for further information), click Save to create the equipment. Electrical Wiring Manager will place the new equipment on the diagram.

Note:
To see the new equipment tag in the Equipment View, select Refresh from the Records section of the Home tab.
